If you joined Goodcover some years ago, your policy number likely starts with a K, and your first statement will include a one-time deposit (aka Membership Deposit) that is equal to your monthly premium quote for that month. 


If you have this Deposit, we will apply this deposit towards your last monthly bill, or refund it to you if you cancel your policy before its end date. We ask for this deposit to make sure you never have a lapse in coverage if a monthly payment fails (e.g. expired credit card).
